Levendi (by Triple Crown winner and boom sire Pierro out of the Redoute’s Choice mare, Lipari) is an elite class of racehorse winning multiple times at a group level and has amassed $1.7 million in career earnings. He is an impressive specimen with great size and strength, standing at 16.1hh. He has the looks, heart, pedigree and race record, deserved of a place on any commercial stallion roster. Juvenile ability – Levendi had 1 impressive start as 2YO beating subsequent Group 1 horses by a big margin. A brilliant win at Ballarat over 1200m and then quickly showed his class as a spring three year-old winning the Group III VRC Carbine Club Stakes (1600m). Coming to the fore – The best middle distance horse at 3YO in Australasia. He finished his 3YO season with a World Longines IFHA rating of 119 and an overall ranking of 15th. In the autumn, Levendi took another step forward winning the Group II ATC Tulloch Stakes (2000m) and then the Group I ATC Australian Derby (2400m) beating Ace High with New Zealand Derby winner Vin de Dance a distant fourth.Group 1 Winner. Regally bred and by champion sire Pierro, his dam sire is none other than the great sire of sires Redoute’s Choice. This is a cross that has proven formidable with a 20% stakes winners to runners ratio. From the Sir Tristram sireline, which is responsible for the lines of Octagonal, Lonhro, Pierro, Savabeel, Reset, Zed and Zabeel. Out of Lipari, a mare by champion sire Redoute’s Choice, just like Zoustar and Sacred Falls.
